Welcome!

I'm excited for the start of the new school year and to be able to help you along your educational journey! I've been teaching social studies for the past 8 years and this will be my 4th year at PBS-HSA. Previously, I taught US & World History at Lawndale High School for 4 years.

During college I studied Geography and Environmental Studies (in addition to all of the other courses you have to take!) at Cal State San Bernardino. However, right after high school I was an EMT for almost a year before deciding to go back to college. So, don't worry if you don't know exactly what you want to do with your life, you have some time to figure it out :)

When I'm not at school teaching I love to spend my time with my family going to the beach, local parks, and other outdoor areas throughout Southern California. In addition, surfing is one of my big passions and I try to get in the water as much as I can.

It's going to be a great year and I can't wait to help move you along your future journey!
