Please be ready to present 1 of your images to the class and explain what film techniques you used and the effect you wanted the film techniques to have.

Please come to class with your 3 artist statements printed out.  You can use the printer in the MPR or Room 304.  Additionally, if you did not tell me what images to print, please come to class with your 3 images printed.  If you did tell me, I will print images for you.

The rough draft of your 3 artist statements is due.  These can be handwritten in your notebook.

For your final essay you will write a review a film of your choice.  This essay will be published online to provide recommendations to the HSA community on what films to see over break.  If you need a prompt it’s: Do you recommend that others watch this movie/TV show - why or why not?

Over thanksgiving break you need to do two things: (1) watch your movie/TV show and (2) take notes.

If you pick a movie, it can be any movie that we have not seen in class.

If you pick a TV show, please watch 3 episodes in order.

Notes are due our first class back from thanksgiving break.  Notes will be graded based on the notes rubric that you can find in your notebook.

Suspense project due in class.

By the end of class today you will need to tell me the final 4 pictures you are submitting for your final project.

If you ran out of time and want to write more of your coming of age essay rough draft, you can.  Please turn in what you've written do far by 3:45pm on Tuesday, October 9.  The more you write, the more feedback I can give you.

If you didn't finish your Pariah paragraph in class, please finish it for homework.  I will grade them in class.

Last day to complete Unit 2 essay redos or late work.

 

To redo the exam follow these steps:

 

1) Complete a re-do explanation sheet found in the Absent Box or late work explanation sheet found in the Absent Box.

2) Make changes to your essay.
