What is Film & Media Literacy? Film & Media Literacy (or Film Studies) will focus on the skill of “reading” a variety of visual media including movies, TV shows, and photography. The class will be organized around these essential questions: (1) How do you “read” a film? (2) How do you express your opinion clearly and convincingly in writing, speaking, and art? (3) How can art positively impact society?
