After winning the quarterfinal match because the other team forfeited, the HSA Lady Wolves went on to win their semifinal game against LALA High School 3-1.  LALA – who the tournament organizers called a “powerhouse” - were a good team, but through strong defense and opportunistic finishing, the Lady Wolves were able to emerge victorious.  Goals were scored by Shelsy Perez (Class of 2016), Leslie Pineda (Class of 2018), and Andrea Galvan (Class of 2016), all coming off great stretches of play.  They play in the championship match this Saturday, May 23 at Mendez High School close to downtown.  Come out and support if you can!
