The Lady Wolves pulled off their second victory against Burton Tech with a strong 3-1 win in a physical game. Junior Zeidy Herrera scored the first of her two goals a little less than ten minutes in, neatly getting by a defender and finishing with a spectacular shot to the far corner. Senior Viri Ambriz scored the second about five minutes later, capitalizing on a throw in deep in Burton Tech territory and finishing off the crossbar. Herrera scored her second goal in the second half around the 40th minute by taking a great long ball from sophomore Cathie Cabuto and all the way. Special shout-out to senior Adilene Veliz for an incredible defensive showing; to sophomore Shelsy Perez for playing hard on the wing all game; and to juniors Karla Ortega and Jennifer Flores for their wonderful games in their season debuts.
