¡Welcome to Spanish 1! This course is designed to introduce students to the Spanish language and culture. It will balance both communication and grammar with the aid of activities from the text used. Throughout the 2018 – 2019 academic year, students enrolled in Spanish 1 are expected to comprehend the basic skills of the subject matter. Each student’s learning will be facilitated through group work, listening exercises, reading, writing, and the mastery of material taught in class. Students will also complete several projects, which will demonstrate their understanding of the language.
