Our very first students, who began as 9th graders in 2009 (our first year of operation), are now beginning their junior year!  They are joined by over 125 sophomores and more than 170 new freshman. 

These freshmen aren't entirely new to the campus.  Most attended one of two Summer Bridge sessions held in July.  This orientation program helps incoming 9th graders to prepare for the rigor ahead by giving them early exposure to high school math, English and study skills.  It also provides a jump-start on the community building process that is at the heart of HSA.

Also joining HSA this school year are a new Assistant Principal, a Director of Instruction, and several new teachers and support staff, all of whom are dedicated to promoting academic excellence and true HSA spirit.  Visit a full list of HSA staff members here.
