Hello my name is Vanessa Rodriguez and I am an Assistant Principal and Instructional Coach for the best department on campus, the Math Department. This will be my 10th year working at HSA. I am born and raised in Inglewood. My parents are from Mexico and Guatemala. I graduated from Loyola Marymount University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Civil Engineering. In 2014, I graduated from CSU-Dominguez Hills with a Master of Arts degree in Education-Curriculum and Instruction. Finally in 2019, I received my Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California. In my free time, I like to travel, watch sports (Go Dodgers!), eat, run, play softball, read, and learn. What I am most excited about for the coming year is seeing the students in person.
