Hello! My name is Ms. Berkowitz and I teach ELD here at HSA! I'm a Las Vegas native and I graduated from UNLV with my BS in Secondary Education. I went on to get my MA in TESOL from Tel Aviv University a few years later. I've been teaching for 6 years now in California as well as internationally in Israel and Vietnam. Currently, I'm living in Huntington Beach with my boyfriend and my cat! Other than teaching, I'm passionate about cooking, hiking, and most recently I've been making stained glass art. I'm really excited to be back at school and meet a lot of scholars face to face! I think our school community is going to be stronger than ever.
