GFS LA is a ground-breaking initiative that brings GFS’ award-winning Fellows Program to diverse Angeleno storytellers ages 14-18 years with a free, rigorous 30-month pre-professional immersion in cinematic storytelling and production training.

Meeting full-time two consecutive summers and afterschool/Saturdays during the school year, Fellows write, direct, and edit original short films, commercials, and other creative content while studying with top filmmakers and industry experts at our MacArthur Park location and site visits.  The first GFS LA thesis production is set for June 2015.  Fellows will go on to enroll at top colleges and become outstanding candidates for the LA creative industry’s recruitment initiatives and programs.
