Led by Outreach Chair Cindy Ruiz, members of Hermanas Unidas brought together UCSB students, staff and faculty to introduce our students to their beautiful and dynamic campus.  

After a rainy bus ride, HSA students were welcomed and treated to a presentation by the admission department that focused on the college admission process and the difference between UC, CSU, CC and private colleges.  This was followed by an inspirational talk by Ozzie Espinoza, Educational Opportunity Program Associate Director and Counselor, and a panel made up of student leaders. 

A tour of the campus included visits to the Multi-Cultural Center, Campbell Hall, Davison Library, Ortega Dinning Commons, the Student Resource Center, UCen, the Lagoon, Stork Plaza and Friendship Court.
