You couldn't miss the signs of spirit week on the HSA Campus.  Student uniforms gave way to fun and funky outfits in keeping with the Tacky Tuesday, Twin Day Wednesday, and Decade Thursday themes.  Advisory classes went head to head in contests that featured door decorating, relay races, and a dodge ball tournament.  A special shout out to Mr. Mosqueda’s Advisory class, who emerged victorious at the end of the week’s competitions.

Lunchtime featured a tasty barbecue and pozole homemade by HSA moms, as well as entertainment provided by a local DJ and mariachi band.

The week came to a close with a special pep rally that featured a fantastic performance by HSA's Dance Club!  Special awards went out to HSA’s Tackiest Dressed Student, Avery F., Twin Day Wednesday’s coolest triplets, Luis L., Jay H., and Eduardo R., and Decade Day’s most authentic flower child, Jennifer G.  

Also featured during the pep rally was an opportunity drawing for a laptop computer generously donated by Danone Simpson Insurance Services, LLC.  Danone Simpson and Toby Kennedy were on hand to draw the winning name and be welcomed as honorary wolves for their generosity and HSA spirit!

Special thanks to the student council, under the guidance of Assistant Principal and Student Council Advisor Maria Vorgias, for organizing a fantastic spirit week!
