PBS-HSA Black Student Union Hosts: A Conversation with Dr. Lawe Principal Andre Lawe has been an educator for nearly 20 years, serving as a middle and high school teacher, math coach, math department chair, assistant principal, and principal. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively on curriculum development and implementation; and mentoring and developing educators. Most notably though, is his success with raising scholar achievement in math and literacy. He has aBachelor of Arts from Columbia University, a Masters in Education from Jones International University and St. John's University, a certificate of advanced study in Educational Leadership and a Doctorate of Education degree from St. John's University.
