Read all the directions carefully. Directions:You will be reading a play titled, “A Streetcar Named Desire” by Tennessee Williams. The film adaptation of the play is linked to the digital copy of the assignment so that you can reference it for extra support. For this assignment, you will look at how Williams develops her characters and will analyze their characterization throughout different scenes to determine if they stay the same or change throughout. Think about all three characters (Blanche, Stella, and Stanley) that you will be introduced to in the play. Analyze their characterization. Write down any important details that inform you about each character’s personality traits. Highlight any evidence that informs you about the character and their values, beliefs, appearance, attitude, actions, comments, behavior, and/or personality.  Requirements:
You must write a minimum of 3 details per section about the character(s) they are analyzing. They can mix and match.Responses must be detailed and clear.You must highlight the evidence that supports their observation of the character(s).

For today, you are required to draft 5 responses that you can use for college applications. These responses are all about you; therefore, this assignment may be much easier for many of you. This assignment will be graded. Responses do not have to be perfect. You are required to write 2 paragraphs for each question. There are a total of 5 questions.

This standard assesses your ability to analyze evidence in depth within a literary text. Your focus is on analyzing evidence in detail. The vaguer you are, the lower the grade.
