The LASPD Explorers program is run by the Los Angeles School Police Department. The program helps students gain positive life experience through community service, college trips, field trips, and explorer competitions. Students, fist join as recruits and are then selected to be in a 6-week Police Explorers Academy where they learn the importance of physical fitness and various aspects of law enforcement. After graduation, they receive their uniforms and can move up the ranks of explorers from sergeant to lieutenant. Jerry and Anthony, to PBS-HSA Wolves, are members of the explorers program.
